「Return Home」It's Still Winter**(With assorted, peculiar notes!)
...So much for that last entry...
As of writing it is the second day in a row snow... Tomorrow *SHOULD* be the last day of below 0 weather and after that things should be mostly smooth sailing. Kinda sucks, I was enjoying the rain.
Personally I've just been surviving, not much happening other than day-by-day affairs. April Fools wasn't even fun (aside from flightradar24 don't keep on doing this to us)

It's Spring!*
After a bitter, cold winter; we have a day at 16 degrees as of typing. A very warm welcome, even if the following days will dip back into the land of firm soil and brittle air. (-_-)
In the meantime I've been playing a LOT of Gran Turismo 3 and Burnout 3, with KSP, Enter the Gungeon and random flash games sprinkled in... or messing with VMs...
Looking forward to Debian 13 releasing this summer, new plasma version (with real wayland support!)
Not much else to say... Not much happened... I guess thats a sign off until something intresting happens to me.

An Assortment of Peculiar Notes - Feb.27
This break; not much has happened. But it is very nice to be able to take a break from everyday life, GSW has not been touched since the shoddy laptop's mousepad broke. I got all the C & C games, just for them to go on sale the day after, waiting for steam funds to hit while resuming an old Gran Turismo 3 save.(-_-;)
I've gotten some oddly nostalgic feelings when I went outside this morning, watching the snow melt gave me a weird catharsis; along with hearing a swarm of crows be make lots of noise after a winter of me not feeding them spare peanuts.
Just went through a mild saga (installing ntp) trying to get the correct date for the blog.

I've been; in my spare time working on a project, Working title is "Chronicles from the Grey Sea War", mainly composed of Ace Combat style briefings and lines, more a way for me to mildly improve my skills at writing and art (EX., EST_FLAG and X-111 BLUEPRINTS) are both related to the project.

An Assortment of Peculiar Notes - Feb. 20
Oh god it's been how long?
Well I guess not much has been happening for me during the past month and a half... I'm just gonna hit the big points... (^^;)
I've gotten comfortable using Debian as my daily driver, honestly when you get past the main few kinks (getting fstab to work and general customization) It's leagues better than Win 10/11; I do want to see if I can get some friends on Win 10 to switch when EOL hits.
The old friendgroup is back together and I pray that it does not end like it did last time... We all seem to be a bit more mature now anyways but I do get Sean's mild distrust, but spending half a year with a good 2 people to talk to gets depressing quick.
End of January I got hit by a depression spike, seems to be over by now but who knows, thank god a long break is next week.
The short term future seems well, friendgroup reformed, may get a Thinkpad T480 (~$300) & a used Waycom One (~$150, tired of drawing with a fudgy mouse) along with a Canon T4i (~$250) on eBay by summer, and a massive PC upgrade (CPU, GPU, Motherboard) at the end of spring.
Being put in photography class along with a Nikon D5600 is a neat experience, making me remember why I love photography so much, and for making me dislike my broken phone more. (the WB and colouring is god awful.)
I hope for this winter to end soon, we've been hitting -30°c some mornings and I cant find gloves anywhere... Snowfall has been normal, if lacking during November and December; the entire winter though, has been bitter overall.
In other news... My school blocked my webiste... Under "Educational"... Not Neocities itself, just the site. WHY?
P.S. I plan to make these types of blogs if nothing majorly notable happens for a month (e.g. Boston).

Sorry about the break... I've been holding off Boston Part 2 for too long. We'll wrap this one up back home in the rain.
We get out of the restaurant and start walking to god-knows-where when we get hit by some random fireworks, taking a few pictures during the show. After this we waltz right back into Chinatown and me and my dad do a large share of waiting while everyone else is eating. (again...) Waiting with aching feet looking down an alley with a yellow Dodge Challegner with its hazard lights on.
20 minutes later everyone gets out after some mild scolding from me, we start walking to our next locaton, a music festival ending when the clock hits midnight. The walk there starts to take its tool on everyone with the temperatures falling my father's girlfriend decides it would be nice to take my jacket and hand all the hand warmers. When we get there tiredness starts hitting everyone, we've been here for a good 6 hours and already running off of an all nighter...
About 30 minutes in I make the call that I could use with some food, I hit a food stall with my dad, waiting 10 minutes for a $20 sausage, eating it rapidly before everyone tries to go for some 11pm coffee. We walk by a 7-11 due to the fact we want to live our lives not in a constant hell and keep on going past closed Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks alike. 30 minutes pass with no dice, with us hitting a cafè my father's girlfriend's family hit at the start of our trip. We all make our order and take turns using the bathroom. (Note: We did not go for a while as when it comes to Boston, bathrooms require patronage to use, I presume as some anti-homeless mesure.)
All of us, drinks in hand, move to the parking garage to hop in a car to get closer to a bay for the New Year's fireworks show; rushing into a handicap spot, Then running to the bay with breakishoe laces. Hearing the first fireworks go off just as we get there, and watching them for a good 10+ minutes. Once the display is over and the smell of cheap beer kicks in, we say our farewells as we enter the garage and get in the Outback. As we make our way out of the city, rain starts pouring against the car as tiredness kicks in.
I wake up about 20 minutes from home, making small talk and watching the world go by as everyone settles into the new year. (Doing 60 in a 25.) Hitting home we rush to get our stuff inside before it's soaked and we fall asleep one last time to the rain pours down around us.

Happy late New Year!
During my birthday I went to Boston with my dad and his girlfriend's family, the trip was a lot so this should have a follow up post; let's get started here and end when we all go get some asian food.
After keeping everyone awake from 02:00 during an all nighter, I had pissed everyone off, leading to me getting yelled at. (yayy...) But once the "everyone getting a bit pissed at Aya" bit ended we were ready to go a bit behind schedule. The ride to Boston was not too eventful, we took the dog to a place to watch over him for the night, and went through a few familiar places.(I then fell asleep) Entering Boston proper we see one of many Boston Drivers™ and continue to the gigantic underground parking garage.
Entering Boston Common after metting up with others at a café, we see some youth Ice Skating showcase we stand there waiting for something to happen, me and my father go get some pizza at the nearby Sal's. The pizza itself is wonderful, the dough is chewy, sauce great and pepperonis have a nice spice to them. (cheese was alright, its hard to make a "better" cheese from what I've seen. P.S. This is the last food I eat before a $20 sausage, I am not joking.) After waiting around more, we decide to grab our jackets out of the aging Subaru Outback and have everyone get food. (exept me, lol)
We end up in a small part of Boston's Chinatown and stop at a place to get some food. (forgot name) Once we enter the place we all get seated and everyone makes their orders, I go for a green tea. As everone's orders come in someone decides to get some sake, as everone else takes their shots, she fucks it up without even being drunk, spilling her shot all over the table. The rest of everyone's meal goes fine, and she even drank some of her shots.

Have a few nice things to announce, for one this blog number ten! For two I got Debian working on my PC and may straight up switch after getting rid of my last few issues that should pop up over the weekend; overall this has been a pretty swell few days so far!

Had a break started on Tuesday, during the whole thing I can only recall talking to someone once, to say the least, feels like depression got worse.

Was able to read my PSAT scores a while back, 1100 is not too bad. Results were that I am terrible at math and good at understanding this damned language.

Turns out Pokemon X and Y are 11 years old now, those are the first games I can remember being exited for before their relase.

NOTHING HAPPENED EVER YESTERDAY
Yesterday I had a day off and was chilling and and listening to the postcast The List Goes On... , and their episode on R4: Ridge Racer Type 4, I decided to play it and man, is it fun. I genuinley cried while playing it, most likely a feeling of innocence hitting me like a T4 car at 300 km/h.
You should play it.

Autumn has just went past its peak, it's been a good one, far better than Virginia. Yesterday the maples went all yellow, quite the view if I'll be honest.

Just got done with taking the PSAT, test results are not in, but either way im pissing of my teachers. If I did well, they will be annoyed that im not doing anything for work (like last year), and if I did poorly, I have bad grades.

Well, the site seems to be working well; this marks my first entry into my blog. Overall starting to code this site has made me feel leagues better mentaly, but im still failing all of my classes (lol)
